On Tuesday, July 19th we had an Open House! Thank you to all our donors for our door prizes and refreshments! We serve an awesome community! Executive Director Kim Carley said “Our funding has changed, our identity as a job center has changed and our space has been transformed – but we are still here! We Are HOPE, Inc. programming and other on-and-off site partner employment programs utilize the HUB, to share our employment resources with the community. If you missed the Open House, call to schedule a time to come in or stop in for a tour of our community’s employment resources in the HUB.”

We Are HOPE, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has successfully served the employment needs of our community since 1978. Our mission: We Are HOPE, Inc., is dedicated to connecting employers and the workforce in achieving mutual employment success. We have been the ONLY employment resource center in Door County beginning with the creation of Women’s Employment Project in 1978 to our current name, We Are HOPE, Inc. Our employment services included the operation a Wisconsin Job Center from 1995 to September of 2019 when Job Center funding was cut.
Today, We Are HOPE, Inc., Inc. has refreshed our location identity as The EmployAbility HUB, to recognize that we are still here providing much needed employment services to the community workforce and employers and partnering with other agencies with the same goal.
The Board and staff are committed to continuing the much-needed employment services that The EmployAbility HUB provides such as; use of computers, printing and faxing, help navigating the unemployment process, maintain physical and virtual job boards, career exploration guidance, conduct skill building classes, and hold recruitment events – all of which are currently able to provided free of charge.
As we continue to plan for today, tomorrow and the years to come, we need your help! We ask that you consider making a donation that will make an impact in the employment needs of our community. Our entire board and staff thank you in advance for joining our community’s employment solutions team!

WHO ARE WE?
We are a coalition of like-minded individuals who support the education and connection of women via educational opportunities, networking events and one on one mentorship.
WHAT DO WE DO?
We share knowledge and networking tools with Door County women to assist in the journey of becoming more confident, successful and empowered individuals.
WHO DO WE HELP?
Mentor Door County offers programming focused on women and those who identify as female who have ties to or currently reside in Door County, Wisconsin.
HOW DO WE MEASURE SUCCESS?
Our success in measured by number of participants served and also by systematic feedback from programming and the one-on-one mentor matches.
WHAT IS OUR ULTIMATE GOAL?
Our ultimate goal is that through our endeavors we create a greater sense of belonging and connectivity in our community amongst ALL Door County women.
